Collecting, Restoring and Recycling Furniture

The aims of the project are to

Provide clean, safe, low cost furniture and househouls items to people on low income
Prevent wate by recycling furntite and household items
Offer a service to the public by recycling unwanted furnitire and putting it to good use
Provide volunteers with training to help them get back into paid employment

The North Tameside Explorers in Hurst would like to thank the Glossopdale Furniture Project for their donation of paint.

This paint will be used to support the Local Network Fund Grant from the Greater Manchester Community Foundation.

This is an educational project to provide taster sessions of building trades to 14-18 year old.

The physical outcome will be the provision of new meeting rooms in the roof space of the Headquarters.
